The new ALPS™ RA801L2 is the big brother of the popular ALPS™ RA701-L2. For those rod blanks that are a bit larger in diameter and require fly reel seats with a larger inner diameter, we introduce the RA801L2. This is also perfect for spey rod builds. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and with two nuts that feature angled knurling and built in delrin washers to enable the fly angler to tighten the reel to the seat with ease. The seat also comes with a nice trim ring to provide the professional clean look builders want between the reel seat and cork fighting butt. This seat is available in two beautiful hard anodized colors: black and shiny gun smoke.
