This is a Batson exclusive design developed for spey rod use. Spey rod blanks are larger in diameter; hence we developed a seat to accommodate these larger blank designs. Like all Batson seats, this model is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The two locking nuts feature raised knurling for no slip tightening, and built in delrin washers to prevent the nuts from working loose. The added length of the reel seat allows it to fit larger reels with ease. It is available with a gray woven insert and comes with a trim ring for the perfect finished look between the reel seat and fighting butt.
